MIRVAC BRIGHT FUTURES

Have you ever seen a Smog Eating Mural?

To celebrate World Environment Day, Mirvac partnered with VANDAL and Graphenstone Paint to create Smog Eating Murals around Australia in their national campaign Mirvac Bright Futures

This new paint technology absorbs Co2 in its drying process, as much as a 250kg tree in a year! What better way to celebrate this advancement in technology for a more sustainable bright future, than by commissioning seven talented muralists at Mirvac Retail Centre’s around Australia.

These nine artists have blown us away with their incredibly unique environmental designs that have illuminated across Australia. This national campaign sees ‘Smog Eating Murals’ now live at Broadway Sydney, Birkenhead Point (two murals!), The Met Centre, Stanhope Village, East Village, South Village, Greenwood Plaza, Kawana Shopping World in Queensland and Moonee Ponds in Victoria.

Helen Proctor, our Broadway Sydney Mural Artist, said “It’s awesome that technology has come this far that we can create murals that are helping the environment and soaking up all of the pollution”.

VANDAL is incredibly proud to be a part of such a sustainable national campaign.
